Reviving Vedic Wisdom for Resilient, Thriving Himalayan Communities. In the highlands of Uttarakhand, where nature's silence cradles centuries of tradition, the Himalayan Devis Project is creating a new model of women's empowerment—one rooted in inner transformation, sustainable agriculture, and local economic development. Inspired by the ancient Vedic wisdom of India and the science of consciousness taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, this initiative helps women unlock their full potential—spiritually, socially, and economically. At its core, the project integrates Transcendental Meditation, its advanced programs, and wellness training with skills development in organic farming, food processing, and cottage industries. We are establishing community centers across Himalayan villages—spaces for education, collective meditation, capacity-building, and local enterprise. These centers serve as hubs for rural regeneration and self-reliance.
